What Fate Holds (1957)

With the help of his indispensable associate, the beautiful goldfinch, Iordanis, Minas, a wandering fortune-teller with a heart of gold, predicts the fates of passers-by to make a living. But, having broken up recently with Elenitsa, his long-term girlfriend and aspiring starlet who dreams of climbing into stardom, Minas is left all alone. Now, bent on helping others like a Good Samaritan, Minas has intriguing chance encounters with all sorts of people: some of them are incurable romantics, others are impecunious lovers, while others are unscrupulous con artists. Who knows what the future has in store?
