Heaven Is Ours (1953)

Taken in by her compassionate but ailing foster grandmother, Koula Karli, aka "Little Sparrow", finds herself unable to make ends meet, longing for her long-lost parents. As one thing leads to another, Koula has a chance encounter with the retired officer of the Greek Air Force, Tonis Varentis, who, right from the start, inspires optimism and uplift, paving the way for a passionate love affair.
