As Mulheres Amam por Conveniência (1972)

A filmmaker falls in love with a girl he believes to be pure as an angel. He discovers, however, that she was once a thug's lover and that she has had many men in her life. While his film is successful, the girl is degraded to the point of being marginalized even in the underworld environment of "Boca do Lixo". The filmmaker then decides to rehabilitate her back to society.
