Saint Amour (2001)

In 1969, 27-year-old Father Louis lives in a convent and his priesthood is his calling. But when his friend and fellow priest Daniel gets into a relationship with a woman, Louis also questions his celibate existence. Why can he not maintain an intimate relationship with another person? Through a series of events, Louis revolts against the Catholic Church and in 1973 he leaves the monastery. Coincidence brings him into contact with Daikha and they have a relationship, but by 1999 he has virtually forgotten this short relationship. Louis has turned his back on the Church and lives with his childhood love Liliane. Then he receives a message that will dramatically change his life for the third time.
