Dr Vishal and his sister Kanchan are brought up single handedly by their mother, and are aware of her sacrifices. Eventually, Vishal meets Nayana, the beautiful daughter of industrialist Dadasaheb Ratnaparkhi, and they tie the knot. But pampered Nayana can't adjust to the simple lifestyle of her new family which leads to problems.
