Love Written in Blood (1962)

Somewhere in the rugged mountains of Crete, the handsome groom of the village's most beautiful girl dies by the hand of a stranger on their wedding ceremony. But before dying, the wronged man makes his bride swear to avenge his untimely and unjust death. Now, bent on revenge, the young widow enlists the help of a man, who is secretly in love with her, to aid her in her cause. Is there a future for a love written in blood?
