Redemption (1961)

Ever since he was a little boy, Ilias has been dreaming of becoming a doctor to soothe the pain of his compatriots in the fight against tuberculosis. Decades later, Ilias, now a hopeful idealist and brilliant physician, returns to his village to help his community. However, in his noble mission, Ilias is alone. As Dr Ilias chooses a solitary life over his happiness, a beloved stranger from the past finds herself in dire need of his assistance. But, can Dr Ilias win all the time?
