The Greek Connection (1974)

Zamano, a safe-cracker is engaged by Muratti, a drug lord to open a safe containing 20 kilos of pure heroine that belong to a fancy Lebanese pusher. First, Muratti shall take the expert out of prison where he is because Muratti double-crossed him in a past operation. The cops help Zamano escape, wiring him to discover Muratti's whereabouts. Zamano wishes to take revenge on Muratti but is forced under life-threatening menaces to his sister Eleni (currently, Muratti's moll), to open the safe. Zamano's girl, Sofie, is under Muratti's pay, and worns him about Zamano's double-crossing. Now, when the police are coming, and everybody discover each other's treacheries, Greek connections change into Greek tragedy.
