El embajador de la India (1987)

Jaime Florez, an astute provincial, and malicious, is involved in a misunderstanding: the notable people of a Colombian city confuse it with the diplomatic representative of India. Without much effort he decides to take advantage of the situation and deceives the whole world, until they discover him.
