Wandering in the busy Athenian streets with her cab, Despina, an emancipated and hard-working taxi driver, struggles to make ends meet to support her family. As a single mother, Despina dreams of a better future as a famous actress; however, her talent alone is not enough to fulfil her noble aspiration. But, before long, an unexpected incident on a movie set in the presence of the beautiful protagonist, Rika Dialyna, and the handsome leading actor, Alkis Giannakas, will pave the way for a brilliant career, catapulting the feisty cab driver to the top.
