The Maharaja (1968)

On pins and needles waiting for the imminent arrival of a billionaire Indian oil tycoon, the ambitious manager of a prestigious Athenian hotel is shocked to discover that there has been a change of plans. To spare himself the embarrassment, the desperate hotelier decides to turn his loss into gain by enlisting the help of an unexpected ally with a heart of gold: Goutos, a cleaner who bears a striking resemblance to the highly esteemed guest. So, without delay, lucky Goutos has an extreme makeover and learns how to pose as a wealthy aristocrat to save the business; however, this is easier said than done. Will the cheerful Greek Maharaja manage to save the day?
