The Swamp (1973)

With a large leather suitcase crammed with cash embezzled from their unsuspecting customers, the ruthless founders of a dummy construction corporation and Lena, their equally guilty partner, try to escape abroad in their small private plane. Instead, the gang members find themselves stranded on a thin stretch of swampland along with one of their victims and Lena's old flame. Now, to retrieve the money and repair the aeroplane, the only means of escape, the unscrupulous trio has no choice but to enlist the help of the islet's grizzled lighthouse keeper and an unlikely ally: Vagelis, a dangerous former convict. However, greed, lust, and unforeseen complications stand in the way of success. Will the intruders ever leave the unforgiving swamp?
