Some Intense Scenes
very young sensitive children may be frightened by the large evil diesels in this movie and there's some scenes in which they put characters in danger and they narrowly survive.
there are some dark foggy scenes at nighttime which may be frightening to some, such as a junkyard with dead, faceless rusty engines in the scrap. and a scene which shows bats flying off a tree, a door opening and slamming itself, an owl hooting and a spooky talking tumbleweed.
there are some scary/dark deleted scenes, but most of the scariest things in the movie are cut from the theatrical version.
comparing this movie to the series, it is not afraid to attempt leaning closer into some slightly darker elements but nothing too dark.
A character has one or two nightmare visions in one scene. (Nothing too frightening.) Diesel 10 has a claw and he may scare toddlers with it!
Overall, a great family film for all ages.
