A Law-Abiding Citizen (1974)

Unable to stand up for himself, the downtrodden breadwinner and meek employee, Grigoris Monachogios, has been under his mother's thumb for years. Dejected, lonely, and above all unloved, exploited Grigoris will soon have no other choice but to forsake his principles, and the love of his life, the understanding hairdresser, Ioulia, to marry into money. But, now, there is no turning back, and as the deleterious effects of a lifetime of socio-economic oppression are starting to wear Grigoris down, an acrimonious manifesto before colleagues and employers in the name of progress will become the swan song of a romantic rebel.
