Contrary to what the title of the film suggests this is not a porn film. The Onao character (Kanako Higuchi) is frequently seen topless or nude as she poses for the artist and in other situations. There is the enactment of the famous Hokusai wood print of an octopus entwined with a naked Onao which is pretty graphic.

There are also several scenes where the daughter character (Yuko Tanaka) is shown either topless or with her breasts and nipples clearly visible for extended periods of time.

Early in the film is a scene that takes place in a mens sento (public bath) where many male characters are seen nude but no genitals are shown.
