Terma ta difraga (1962)

In dire straits, the otherwise decent widower, Agisilaos, finds himself in a tight spot. Facing imminent eviction, the poor man has no other choice but to turn to friends and relatives, in high hopes of getting a low-interest loan; however, in vain. In the meantime, Rita--the statuesque blonde and his only son Takis' long-term sweetheart--is desperate to get Agisilaos' approval to walk down the aisle with him; nevertheless, she, too, gets constantly rejected. Will Agisilaos solve his financial problem? Will the two lovebirds get the father's blessing to get married?
