Rider on the Rain (1970)

A rape scene but not graphic and rather off screen.

A man is shot.

A woman is harassed.

Cigarette smoking.

Some drinking.

The rape and murder sequence is the most intense part. Not gory but uncomfortable and non friendly for children and easily scared viewers. There is a mysterious atmosphere emphasizing the isolation of people in a small town, especially in rainy days. Also, portrays locations inhabited by underworld figures, being tough on women. Scene of fighting and beating.
