A brief sex scene of a married man and single woman are superimposed over the top of another scene. Very little detail or nudity is evident but it's obvious what's going on.

A single man is implied to be having a brief love affair with a woman thinking of divorcing her husband. After taking the woman to dinner, they return to their hotel rooms but he pauses before entering his room and and she follows him inside, implying sex. They are later seen to be sharing a hotel room when her husband comes and reconciles with his wife.

A racing accident occurs early in the film between two characters; Stoddard is sent into the runoff haybales while Aron is pushed into the harbour. One of them is badly injured and bloodied as he's carried away in a hospital boat.

Sarti pushes hard at the front and comes up to the backmarkers, when his right front wheel breaks off and the Ferrari crashes through a fence. He has a bloody nose as well as a gash on his arm and leg.

Aron's car begins to leak fuel and ignites. He turns up okay.

An exhaust pipe comes off another car, Sarti hits it, spins off the high banking and crashes in an explosion on the trackside below. Jean-Pierre flies in the air and lands in a tree with bloody injuries. He's taken away by ambulance. Louise is hysterical, resulting in her getting his blood on her palms. He's implied dead.

Mild obscenities include a couple uses of damn, hell and bloody.

Some smoking, but plenty of drinking.

Stoddard takes prescription drugs for his injury and trips out while racing.

Much of the race scenes are intense and suspenseful.
