The vampire attack scenes can be rather intense, although they are quite tame by todays standards. The scene where a woman enters the tomb of an ancestor and is confronted by an offscreen vampire can be quite frightening. The scene where a man sees the vampire walking towards him through the flames is a bit scary and suspenseful. The death scene by impalement in the end can be quite sad and disturbing for some
