Some mild kissing and embracing. A woman is chained and put on a torture table. The whole while she is twisting and turning, her legs are shown moving back and forth until they are placed in stocks.

There are fights and stuggles. Some of them seem dreamlike. A woman strikes a man repeatedly near the end and it turns into someone in a suit of armor doing the hitting, then changes back to the woman.

There is a malformed man with a hideous face who frightens women in this film. He also chains them up to a X-cross or a torture table.

A hideously deformed man loves the countess who mysteriously disappeared years ago. When another woman arrives who bears a remarkable resemblance, he begins showing his affection for her. He fights off other men who try to interfere.

A woman is fleeing inside a castle. She enters a crypt and tries to hide by one of the graves. The top is seen sliding off and a hideous creature reaches out from the sarcophagus to grab her. She goes screaming off.

There are a couple of ghostly appearance of the missing countess which are fairly impressive but only last a few seconds each.

The malformed headed man might frighten young children under 6.

This movie is old-fashioned and is not likely to scare most people. There are several scenes with screaming which might upset sensitive persons or young children.
