A woman engages in an adulterous relationship throughout the film. There is a scene of implied sex. This same woman being of the femme-fatale cast-type is often in body-flattering clothing, night wear and possesses a sensual personality. Several instances of kissing are acted out between two different couples.

Bare-chested male nudity is seen in several scenes, once in a locker room and once in public when a man's shirt gets ripped off.

Adulterous wife makes up a story of sexual assault/rape to make her husband jealous.

A bar fight.

A horse is shot, non-explicit.

A character is shot onscreen; no blood. A man stumbles home after being shot covered in blood.

A black man is called a "nigger" to his face.

Heavy smoking and drinking, but not in a way to encourage it.

Rated PG-13 for some violence and one racial epithet (n-word). The film would've most likely gotten a PG rating if given a rating when the MPAA ratings were first unveiled.

All of the shootings are intense, but not overtly graphic.
