A prisoner of war, doctor Bertram has just been repatriated .He learns that his fiancee was killed in a bombing.When he meets a young girl who is exactly like her ,he cannot believe his eyes.Her name is Hilda : Bertram's fiancee got married when he was reported missing and she is her own daughter. The doctor is a gynecologist;Hilda is a model and she is wooed by a bad boy, Kurt .Whereas the doctor falls for an attractive young widow,Hilda gets jealous and becomes an easy prey for Kurt.
