One character is frequently shirtless and repeatedly sings a chantey about meeting girls.

Close to the beginning of the movie, Ned comes on the screen with two women who are wearing cleavage-revealing dresses. Later when Nemo's submarine reaches New Guinea, he remarks that there are native girls hungry for affection.

There is a scene on the island where prisoners are seen from afar being whipped.

The submarine is attacked by a giant squid. This entire sequence is intense.

Two men fight very brutally with each other and one man is presumed knocked out. Later, a man is shot and blood is shown through his clothes.
