A man sexually assaults a newly widowed woman, suggesting that he's going to take over the role of "husband." When she resists, he gets violent.

An unhappily married woman appears to be having an extramarital affair with a ranchhand until a more handsome cowboy comes along. She makes several attempts to seduce the new cowboy without success.
