There are battles throughout the film. Soldiers die, little or no blood is shown. Japanese soldier commits suicide. An enemy soldier is stabbed many times in the chest killing him.

At the very end of the film a character shouts "give them hell". Other then that there is none.

Soldiers smoke occasionally. A soldier uses a pain killing drug to hide his fear of battle. Soldiers try to use a still to brew alcohol.

A soldier goes crazy and wants to kill his prisoners, his friend accidentally shoots him. His friend is traumatized by this happening.
