Phool (1945)

The directorial debut of K. Asif, best known for his Mughal-e-Azam (1960), is a big buget Amrohi drama set in a Muslim Joint family. Safdar loses his inheritance through his sister-in-law's machinations but he still had to honour his promise to complete the building of a mosque started by his father.
