Sheriff of Sundown (1944)

Bringing his large cattle herd to Sundown, Tex Jordan sells to Hatfield. He does all right, but he learns that Hatfield is cheating the small outfits. When one refuses to sell, he is murdered, and Tex decides to stay and take up the fight. He is appointed a special Agent by the Governor but unknown to him the Governor's Secretary is a spy for Hatfield and reveals his plans.
