Hans store aften (1946)

Jonas (Sigfred Johansen)is waiting tables in a cafe to make a living - but he is also a very ambitious writer just about to premiere his very first play, a comedy. Tonight, when the play has opened, all his worries and financial troubles will be over, and Jonas will become a safe provider to his dear wife Else (Lis Løwert), he is quite sure. Tonight. However, there's a long way yet to travel for Jonas and Else.
