Two Sisters from Boston (1946)

Gossip reaches her proper Boston family that Abigail is a featured singer at a Bowery burlesque house, and they are scandalized. Later, Abigail is implied to be the mistress of opera patron Patterson Sr., thereby obtaining temporary entry into the opera chorus to save face in front of her visiting prudish uncle and family.

Just prat falls.

At night, a drunken burlesque house patron turns out to be the daytime butler for the upper-crust Patterson's. He appears to behave properly but becomes progressively drunk during an event in their home.
