Dracula kills a man offscreen. A man shoots at Dracula but is unable to harm him, shooting (and apparently killing) only the woman behind him. Dracula seizes a man by the throat. A woman dies of a heart attack upon being horrified by a large white bat. A vampire, in the form of a bat, flies into a man's cell and then bites his throat, drinking some of his blood.

Some wine is drunk at a party. One man smokes a large cigar. A man gives another man a small glass of wine to calm his nerves.

Despite being light on violence, this film is very strong in suspense. One of the main character's descent into complete evil can be disturbing to some viewers.
