Service de nuit (1944)

On a stormy night, in a Savoie village, Suzanne is a switchboard operator beaming with joie de vivre, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone, from a cat to an escaped prisoner. She can settle all the problems of daily life, from a slight accident to a difficult childbirth. In the morning, everything is all right, thanks to Suzanne's devotion.
