Axel Skönman is courting women in large quantities. He increasingly conscious and excessively uses his innate and viable charm, evolving into a pure Don Juan. During his career - partly in Sweden, but mostly abroad - Axel seduces for example, a freight proprietress and her fifteen year old daughter, a cabaret singer, a wealthy American widow, a French countess, a fashion-house manager, an artist, swell as his brother's wife.
