Forse eri tu l'amore (1939)

An Italian engineer, who works for an American firm, is asked by his boss to go to Italy and bring his niece back. He takes a lady friend on the trip, but is very surprised to find out that the "baby girl" is instead pretty much grown up and strong-willed. Worse on, she gets a crush on him, sparking a rivalry with his partner.
