Several fights between men. A white man rescues a woman from being attacked by a black man.

A man is shot and falls into the swamp. Later he is seen crawling up onto the banks and throwing a knife into the back of the shooter. He then falls back into the water.

A woman is caught by two men who intend to rape her. A third man tries to intervene and he is punched out.

A woman is placed on a voodoo altar for sacrifice. A ceremony is taking place. Next men come and fight, scattering the assembly.

There is smoking and drinking.

There is not much to frighten anyone due to the old standards of the 1930s. A woman about to be sacrificed might be the most intense scene but shouldn't frighten anyone.
