Whispering Winds (1929)

Jim (Malcolm McDowell), a Mainer fisherman, marries Dora (Patsy Ruth Miller on the rebound after his sweetheart, Eve Benton (Eve Southern), leaves him to pursue a singing career. Years later, Eve proves to be genuinely in love with Jim, but acts indifferent for Dora's sake. This part-talkie is made up of both sound and silent sequences.
