The Road to Singapore (1931)

A snobbish doctor in the tropics sends for a former nurse associate from England to marry him. But he is a changed man. He seeks fame through medicine and neglects his wife for his work. A returning plantation owner with a sullied reputation lures the woman away from her husband.
