Maker of Men (1931)

Bob Dudley (Richard Cromwell) and his father, famous football coach Jack Dudley (Jack Holt), do not see eye-to-eye, and Bob chooses to play football at a rival college. Bob is injured while scoring the winning touchdown against his father's team--and they are reconciled.
