Dracula enters a woman's bedroom and bites her neck and sucks her blood, killing her. While we don't see this, in the next scene, during an autopsy, we see a close-up of the bite marks on her neck through a magnifying glass.
Dracula, quite violently for the 1930's, strangles a man and throws his body the stairs.
Renfield gets drugged by Dracula. When he awakens, he is bitten and for the rest of the movie, he is Dracula's slave.
