When the elderly boss is forced to retire for health reasons, Mary Linden helps a man to the top and becomes the key to his success. She sacrifices for him and falls in love with him in the process, only to see her protege spun her for frivolous and jealous rivals, until his new fiancee feels threatened by her and steps in to keep them apart.
