Naughty Baby (1928)

At a New York luxury hotel, Rosie is a hatcheck girl who aspires for the attentions of a wealthy young man who resides there, Terry Vandeveer. She pretends to be of his social class to compete with the girl he's going with, Bonnie. To put it over, Rosie has her friends supply cars, jewels, and clothes from their employers. At length, Bonnie is more or less as much a gold-digger as Rosie, though Rosie has actually fallen in love with Terry. When, because of an unpaid bill, it looks like Terry is also a phony, Bonnie leaves, but Rosie stays.
