Frau Eva (1916)

Eva comes from a simple background and longs for nothing more than a life in luxury. One day she meets a decent, respectable man who, thanks to hard work, made it to the point of co-owner of a factory. The two get married. Eva, who has nothing but pageantry and pleasure in her head, turns to her husband's company partner and can tempt him to throw himself into expenses at company expense. This soon brought the factory to the brink of ruin, and Eva's husband only now notices what was going on behind his back the whole time.
