For eighteen long years, the conscientious but oppressed and impecunious accountant, Labis, has been toiling away at a big corporation. Always under the thumb of his ungrateful boss, Mr Tzavelakos, Labis is dreaming of a better life for himself; however, in vain. But, things will take a turn for the unexpected, and Labis will finally manage to turn his luck around after winning the football sweepstake, and now, after all these years, it's his turn to get his big break--and, maybe--make the secret love of his life, the statuesque music diva, Lola, notice him. Is money everything in life? And, what about Fani, the kind young woman who's head over heels in love with the good old Labis?
