In the West (1923)

Jim Grimson, a 'city chap,' wins a girl, Florence Jackson, away from her cowboy sweetheart, Bill Frazer. The mother, however, insists the chap go out west and make good. Hard work is not attractive to Jack and he wanders back to his city haunts, permitting the girl and her mother to believe he is still on the ranch. Frazer stages a comeback and when he exposes the deception carried on by Grimson, the girl is won back to him.
