The infamous hell sequence although very brief is EXTREMELY graphic and very gruesome. You see extremely brief but very graphic images of people covered in maggots, horribly mutilated bodies hanging, a giant spear graphically and disturbingly is in a dead body's mouth and other disturbing imagery. Although extremely brief, it's SUPER graphic and extremely gory and its very disturbing.

This movie involves several violent, bloody, gruesome moments. Some of them are hallucinations, especially near the end, when characters see brief visions in very fast succession. These shots are very graphic depictions of people being tortured, as well as a display of horribly mutilated corpses.

A frozen corpse is shown floating in the ship, when the artificial gravity is activated, it falls to the ground and shatters into bloody shards.

This scene is very flashy and brief, so it's not too detailed, but it's still extremely gory and disturbing. It also briefly shows a man ripping out his own internal organs from his mouth, and ends with the captain uttering "Libera te... tutemet... ex inferis" while holding his own gouged-out eyeballs in his hands.
