Tehmul is shown being verbally abused in a brothel, where he has gone to get some action. But the prostitutes don't want to have anything to do with him because they say he is crazy. Some of the action in that scene is suggestive - but only if you keenly observe.

Towards the latter third of the movie, there is a scene where Tehmul (shown in the movie as a crazy boy) is shown having sex with a doll that belongs to Gustad's daughter. There is full nudity from the back, and full frontal nudity - but the genitals are obscured by something that Tehmul holds in front of him, when Gustad confronts him.

A character tortures a live animal by poking it with sharp needles and pouring boiling water on it. This scene, which uses a real live animal, is very disturbing.

Toward the end of the movie, Tehmul is struck by a stone and lies bleeding. There is a lot of blood on Gustad, as he picks up Tehmul and places him back in his room on his own bed.
