Some of the milder four letter words appear early in the film, with the f-word a couple of times. As the film goes on, especially when Eddie Vedder is interviewed, the f-word and its "mother" version are used more often.

Several interviewed band members drink beer during the interviews. A few others smoke cigarettes. Many of the performances are in bars, with beer served, consumed, and thrown.
