A few very bloody corpses (a badly battered corpse has her arm almost come off when picked up). A man dies of a bloody gunshot to the abdomen, a closeup of a man's arm being broken.

About 4 F-words, a handful of scatological references, a few mild obscenities and anatomical references.

People smoke throughout. One of the investigating officers habitually smokes a cigar.

Social drinking, as well as a husband returning home obviously drunk to the point of being incapable to walk properly (and he is presumed to have driven there). Later they are seen chugging bourbon right from a bottle.

The film is not very suspenseful, but has a sinister tone throughout.
