The character Billy Budget is often seen getting thrown against a wall, but he appears unharmed. This is mostly played for laughs.
Several characters die in inventive and bloodless ways. These include electrocution, suffocation (by laughing gas), crushing (not shown), hanging (dangling legs), falling (not shown) and machine gun (not graphic). Though not visually distressing or graphic, some of them (electrocution) might frighten young kids. Many incidents of comedic/cartoon violence such as getting bonked on the head by mallets, running into doors, etc (no permanent damage to anyone). Someone gets held hostage at gunpoint.
Roger fakes falling to his death, then ends up falling off the building and landing on one of the station's letter signs which shorts out, briefly electrocuting him.
Roger uses a fire hose to ward off the police but it sprays out of control, and he ends up going out the window hanging by the hose.
The film's main antagonist is shown to be manipulative and at one point he is exposed as murderous and becomes insane
