Slapstick violence in almost every scene. Men attempt to cut open Ernest's head but it, in a comic off-screen way, doesn't work. An arrow goes through Ernest's shoe. Men shoot harpoons at Ernest. Nails go through Ernest's hat but it isn't fatal.

None, except for the scene where Ernest inadvertantly puts a scentific chemical on his sandwich, he eats it, drinks some acid and then throws is back up.

Ernest spends most of his screen time riding on a cannon trying to survive but it's always played for laugh. The last scene could be intense for younger kids.
