Police dogs attack two young car thieves offscreen, and they can be heard screaming behind a car.

Police officers stop two young black men, force them into their squad car handcuffed, and beat them.

Two men walk up to two other men and shoot them several times.

A man hold another man hostage in a car with a gun to his head.

In the opening scene, a man and a woman are shot and killed; the shooting is offscreen, but we see the man with bloody bullet holes and lying in a pool of blood. Later, teens watch the footage and smile as the man is shot through the head and with blood splattering.

Caine's father shoots and kills a man in front of other people and the young son, leaving several bloody wounds.

A man is shot in the head with a shotgun at point blank range. We dont see the head explode, but a lot of blood is seen spraying against a nearby window. Another is shot many times through the chest at close range with a pistol and blood splatters from the wounds.

A man is shot through the stomach and killed in a quick, bloodless, but no less frightening scene.

The film opens on two young men buying drugs at a convenience store.

Two men give a young boy a bottle of alcohol to drink from. Later, a man is stopped from giving a different young boy a beer to drink from.

Many characters, including O-Dog, A-Wax, Caine's father and several other others smoke Marijuana.

The film's atmosphere is very bleak and violent.

The film opens on a sudden an violent double murder.

The ending is very emotional.

The many deaths, most gruesome and bloody, can be difficult.
